Spring Pictures

I was actually on the ball this year and made it to the mall for our Easter Bunny/Spring pictures before the Easter rush! I look forward to this more than Santa pictures because they do candid shots of the kids without the Bunny, too. Here are some of the cutest ones. I'll save the Bunny picture for closer to Easter, but I can tell you that Brooks was not a happy camper!!! Luckily he recovered and took some good candids. Happy Spring!

Another nice day!

I'm falling down on the job with posting pictures, I know...but it's been crazy around here! Today was a nice day. Everyone was healthy for once, I got home from school after lunch, and we spent the rest of the afternoon getting the kids' hair cut, shopping, and playing outside. Why can't all days be this easy? Here are a few cute pictures to share.

Hide and Seek

Brooks has a new favorite hiding place...Jay's closet. Not much to say here, just thought it was a cute picture!

Beautiful Day for a Picnic!

Elle and Brooks are really starting to enjoy each other's company (most of the time) and play well together. They had a great time playing outside this afternoon and sharing a picnic on their playground. It's getting into the low 80's here and no humidity yet. Absolutely beautiful!

Memaw's Big Adventure

In order for Jay and I to go to NYC, Jay's dad (aka Grandad) and his grandmother (aka Memaw) came down to keep the kids. This was full of firsts for Memaw who had never stepped on an airplane before this weekend! She did great and hopefully will do it again sometime! I'm sure that they are both more exhausted than they will even admit after a weekend alone with the Elle and Brooks. When Jay and I got back in town, we took Memaw on another adventure....Disney! We just went to Downtown Disney and walked around and ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. It was alot of fun for everyone, and one more "first" to mark off of her list!

The Big Apple

Jay and I had a much needed weekend getaway this weekend to NYC. We had a great time. The weather was in the 50's the first couple of days which made for perfect shopping and sightseeing weather! Here are just a few pictures to share. We got to spend some time with two of my good friends from college-Rachel and Katherine (throwing that one in for all of the OL's that will be checking the blog), who both live in Manhattan. Friday night we took a carraige ride in Central Park. Our hotel was in Rockefeller Center and had a great view of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Just down the street past the Cathedral we got to see them filming "The Accidental Husband" starring Uma Thurman all weekend. We didn't however ever get to see her. They were filming inside an office building. We ate like royalty, slept late, and spent money like it grows on trees! What more could you ask for in a weekend? Can't wait to go back!
