We're back!

The highlight of Jay's last few weeks has definitely been his weekend in Daytona for the races. Although growing up near Bristol, he has only truly gotten into the sport in the past few years as we have followed David Ragan. We got to be good friends with David's family when we lived in St. Louis. He is a rookie in the Nextel races this year and came in 5th at the Daytona 500!! Jay has been spoiled by getting to watch the races from the field and being down in the action with all of the drivers. Keep your eye on David this year!

The kids are doing great. Brooks is still into EVERYTHING and Elle is just being a girl. Still loves all things pink and princess, and her new favorite thing is having her hair braided!

OK...I think I have this thing figured out. We'll see!
It's been a busy few weeks as always, so not too many new pictures to share. We did have a great Valentines. Elle and Brooks (and Elle's friend Madeline) took part in Lake Bennet's Valentine's Day Fashion Show. Needless to say, they stole the show!

Stay Tuned....

Happy late Valentine's Day, and sorry for no pictures in a while. Our home computer is acting up and I've been unable to post or upload pictures onto the blog. We hope to be back in the swing of things soon! Stay tuned......

Kingsport Trip

All Bundled Up!

Sunday was Papaw's birthday and we had lunch with the Bloomer's. Happy Birthday Papaw!

Saturday morning we got to visit with the Harmans for a while. It was fun watching all of the kids together. Jack is adorable and didn't mind at all when Elle and Brooks took over his playroom!

We had a great trip to Kingsport! It was much colder than we're used to, but Elle got to see snow (flurries) which was one of her main goals of the trip! As always the kids were in the spotlight from the minute we got off of the plane and enjoyed every minute of it!

First stop was to Granny Arlene's where Brooks and Grandaddy enjoyed an ice cream sundae, and Elle led the girls in one of her art "projects".
